Cars going too fast can be a little scary, and he’d like to give chase to every squirrel and cat he sees. Teddey does very well on leash for his age and limited experience, and he enjoys meeting his neighbors who cannot resist his bright eyes and bouncy gait. When his foster mom works from home, he’s content to lay at her feet. He spends his days going for walks, retrieving the ball in the backyard, and chewing on his favorite toys on his dog bed. Introducing Teddey! This sweet puppy is 100% love and as cute as they come. Initial intake information: Yellow Male 34.6 lbs. Sweet Reno is excited to meet his new family soon! Reno’s past is unknown when he was found on the streets by animal control in a small community and well taken care of by a kindhearted animal control officer until DFW Lab Rescue took him in him. Reno is crate and potty trained, takes treats very gently, and listens well. This charming and endearing boy would do great in any family setting. We’ve been told he gets along with cats too, but couldn’t observe it in our cat-less household. Wiggly, wobbly, dangly, jiggly, you name it. He has an astonishingly calm nature for a fairly young dog, but he can turn the switch from being lazy to goofy and playful promptly. He has not met a stranger and shows his friendly excitement with his whole body in motion. Chewing toys is his favorite activity, along with giving gentle kisses and being close to you. Reno is incredibly loving, sweet-natured, easy-going, and submissive in the dog pack order. Treat motivated, he has learned some basic commands quickly. No matter if you need a chef assistant in your kitchen, a snuggle partner during movie time, a tennis ball retriever, and a great play buddy for furry siblings, he covers all bases.

Reno might be more of a petite size boy, but he holds every loving characteristic we all love about labs. He surely has a big personality and likes nothing more than to please you. Here comes Reno, a barrelful of sweetness and happiness on paws. Initial intake information: Black Male 51 lbs When excited he may forget his manners and jump up on people occasionally, but does so gently. He is very food motivated and combined with his need to please, has made it simple to teach him. He will sit for a treat and his meal and will wait until I tell him ok. Tossing those treats inside was enough to convince him that going in the kennel was a good thing. Bribery with high value treats won him over. Initially not wanting to miss out, he was reluctant to go in the kennel on his own. He is an early riser and will bark to let you know that between 5-6 am his bladder is full. We still watch him closely, however as we do not want him to fail. Like children, having a routine and schedule contributed to his success as well.

Having a dog door so he is free to go outside when he likes has helped tremendously.

He quickly picked up on the idea that we potty outside. Gentle natured, a very happy goofy puppy. Tell me about you or let's arrange a meeting so I can hear it all!

In case you are wondering, I am such a good boy in the house. I don't touch things that don't belong to me and when I have to go potty I go to the back door. At night I started off sleeping in my crate but because I am so well behaved mom lets me now sleep on my dog bed on the floor next to her bed. It helps me get all my wiggles out. I am looking for a family that is willing to help me continue to learn my manners. My foster mom says I will probably need to go to obedience training and I said if there are treats there sign me up!! I am eager to learn and have heard her say I learn quickly. I love squeaky toys and playing ball. I have been enjoying going for walks and have even been doing some running with my foster mom. So anyway, a little bit about me. As you can see from my pics I am a little different than some other labs. I only have one eye. But hey don't you worry about me. Things with my foster family have been really busy. I am learning all kinds of new things. Apparently here you can't put your front paws on the counter or jump on your foster mom. Who knew? Well, now I do and I am trying super hard to put my new learnings into practice. The good thing is I have already learned that if I do what she wants I get a treat.
